My Office

My office is conveniently and discreetly located at 748 Morris Turnpike in Short Hills, New Jersey. Whether you’d prefer to meet in person or remotely (or both, depending on your schedule), I aim to provide a safe and comfortable environment.

ABOUT YOUR
TREATMENT JOURNEY

  • Seeing a mental health professional for the first time can be stressful, but it doesn’t need to be. Every aspect of my practice is designed to make you feel comfortable, respected, and heard.

We begin with a slightly longer appointment called an assessment. This ideally takes about 90 minutes. The assessment allows me to begin hearing your story in a comprehensive way. At the end of the assessment, we’ll have an idea of what comes next.

Follow up sessions can be monthly, weekly, or multiple times weekly. It all depends on how you feel I can help you best. To get the most out of it, psychotherapy should be done at least once a week. If you’re more interested in medication management, appointments are offered monthly or twice monthly.

The more time we have, the more I can help with. To fully discuss lifestyle modification and holistic approaches in addition to psychotherapy and medications/supplements, longer sessions are best.

  • The simple answer is, whatever you want. This will depend somewhat on the type of therapy we agree to try. I will give you a few options based on what I think would be most beneficial.

More specifically, while in psychotherapy, some general topics include conflicts, traumas, dreams, goals, and fantasies. But you’ll never be asked to discuss something until you’re ready.

  • Of course. Medications and supplements are a small but powerful part of any treatment relationship. While many of my patients do find great benefit from medications, many simply don’t need them.

When we meet, I’ll go into these options in great detail so that you can make an informed decision.

  • If you’ve never tried therapy or medications, it might be hard to imagine how they could help.

All treatment interventions I offer, whether psychotherapeutic modalities or medications/supplements, are evidence-based, effective, and safe.

Each treatment journey is unique, and I will equip you with all the necessary information to make the treatment decisions that’s right for you.
